    1.他之所以迟到，是因为堵车。Tā zhīsuǒyǐ chídào, shì yīnwèi dǔchē.The reason he was late was that he got stuck in traffic.

    2.我之所以选择这份工作，是因为离家近。Wǒ zhīsuǒyǐ xuǎnzé zhè fèn gōngzuò, shì yīnwèi lí jiā jìn.The reason I chose this job is that it's close to home.
